Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I send my phone to Mobile Repair Centre?

We are a professional mobile phone repair centre with over 10 years of experience in electronic devices and mobile phones. Your phone will be professionally handled by our experienced technicians.

How will I live without my mobile phone while it's being repaired?

Most repairs are completed on the spot. In rare cases with complex problems, repair may take longer. If available, we may provide a loan phone.

What is the procedure for sending my phone for repair?

You can send your phone in person or by post. We will check the phone, provide a quote, and after your confirmation, we’ll give an estimated repair time (usually 1–2 days).

Will my warranty remain intact?

Manufacturer warranties may be voided by third-party repairs. However, we offer a 90-day limited warranty (excluding physical or liquid damage).

What quality of parts do you use?

We use 100% genuine parts when possible. If unavailable, we use high-quality OEM parts with factory-level standards.

Do I get any warranty on repairs?

Yes, a 90-day limited warranty is offered for repairs and parts, excluding physical or liquid damage. Example: If an LCD screen is cracked or damaged by water after replacement, it won’t be covered, but we offer 10% off the next repair.

Will I be charged if I don’t go ahead with a quoted repair?

No charge for quotes. If you decline repair, the phone is returned free of charge. For water-damaged phones, further damage may occur during evaluation.

How can I pay for my repairs?

We accept all major Australian credit/debit cards, online bank transfer, or PayPal.

Can you sell me a phone if mine can't be repaired?

Yes, we have both new and used phones for sale and can even recycle your old device for parts.

Why should I unlock my phone?

Unlocking allows you to use different network providers, both locally and internationally, without roaming charges.

Will unlocking damage my phone?

No, unlocking only allows a new SIM card from a different network. It does not affect functionality or cause damage.

How do I unlock my phone via Australia GSM X?

You can visit one of our stores or unlock it over the phone with your device details.

How much does it cost to unlock a phone?

Pricing varies by phone model and carrier. Please contact us or visit our store for a quote.
